Never tell Mrs. B that you won't go to collage when you grow up.

Yes, "college" is spelled wrong, but at least she got the message!

Never pick your nose because Mrs. B will take away five minutes of recess.

(I have never taken away recess for nose-picking...but thanks for the idea!!)

Well, the year has ended and we are all (students and teachers alike) ready for some R & R!

I have a tradition with my students where I have them write advice letters to the incoming third-grade students. These are often hilariously illustrated. I will continue posting daily during the summer months so you can enjoy these little jewels of advice.

Mrs. B: Yes, very much.

Jaycee: Did you notice I gave you a purple shirt?

Mrs. B: Yes, I did notice.

Jaycee: Yeah. I think you need some color. (Note: Jaycee's mom owns a clothing store so she might have a valid point.)

A student has become frustrated because her seat-mate won't listen.

Natalia: You're hard of hearing, like an old grandma!

Dennis: Who's an old grandma?!

Natalia: See!!

Mrs. B: I need everyone to take out their editing journal.

Dennis: Anything for you, Your Highness.

One student "discovered" her hidden talent this year. She has really taken it to heart...

Cheyenne: Mrs. B, you know how I'm a fine artist, right?
