When people visit our classroom to present, I always have the students write thank you letters. Recently, I've added a box at the top so the students can illustrate their letters. This is what was at the top of Teeny's letter after the police officer visited our room. I'm beginning to think the illustration box was a bad idea...















In case the writing is too small to read, here is what it says:

I am locked in jail asking, "What did I do?"

The officer is telling me, "You did not give the kids enough learning!"
